These lights are beautiful. I added them above our island bar and they create such a neat effect on the ceiling (my daughter calls it fireworks). The fixture itself is very good quality. The glass is thick and feels luxurious. Our electrician had no trouble installing them but they do need to be hardwired so I wouldnt have attempted that myself. This is my favorite light fixture of all time, hands down. I have been looking for the perfect light fixture for my dining area- and so glad I found it. It is surprisingly lightweight. It has the look of the very pricy concrete pendent light, with none of the down sides- such as a heavy weight. It took us less than 20 minutes to install this light. I do recommend wearing gloves to prevent soiling the lid when installing.
